The Open Petal Fabric Flower Pendant Light is a ceiling pendant with a wide, flower-shaped shade of translucent cloth petals held open by an inner frame. A single E27 LED bulb (included) sits at the centre, and the fabric petals filter it into a soft, glare-free glow with the texture of the weave showing through.
At Ø40 or Ø50 cm it suits Japandi, Nordic and wabi-sabi rooms — the Ø40 cm over a small table, a nook or a bedside, the Ø50 cm above a dining table or in the centre of a room of around 6 to 12 m².

Installation and Care
Installation
This pendant is hardwired to the ceiling. In Australia, hardwired light fittings must be installed by a licensed electrician. The manufacturer notes that some assembly of the shade is required before hanging, and the cord is adjustable so the drop can be set during installation.
Care
Switch off power and let the bulb cool before cleaning. Remove dust from the fabric petals with a soft brush or the brush attachment of a vacuum on low suction. Do not wet the fabric.

Cloth petals, not glass
An open flower of translucent cloth petals over a single bulb: the weave shows in the light and softens it, with no hot spot and no glare.
Two diameters for the room

The Ø 50 cm suits a room of about 6 to 12 square metres as a single feature, and the Ø 40 cm a smaller corner. Over a reading chair it can hang lower, beside the seat and clear of the walking path; in a bedroom it is centred on the bed instead of the room.

Which size should I choose, Ø 40 cm or Ø 50 cm?
Over a table the usual guide is a shade half to two thirds of the table width: Ø 40 cm suits a table of about 60 to 80 cm and Ø 50 cm about 80 to 100 cm, hung 75 to 90 cm above the surface. The manufacturer rates the Ø 50 cm for a room of about 6 to 12 square metres; the Ø 40 cm suits a smaller room, a nook or a bedside.
Is a bulb included, and is it warm or white light?
Yes. One E27 LED bulb is supplied, in warm white (3000K) or white (6000K) to match the option chosen. The pendant is not dimmable, so a dimmer is not needed on the circuit.
