The Open Ring LED Touch Dimming Table Lamp is a slim aluminium ring, about 25 cm across, that stands upright on two small feet with the centre left open. The LED sits behind a translucent diffuser along the inner curve, so the whole ring lights evenly and casts a soft, indirect glow.
The lamp is USB powered and comes in two control versions: Touch Dimmable, where the whole frame responds to touch, and Button Control, with a switch on the cord.

No installation is needed: place the lamp on a stable, flat surface and connect the USB lead to a USB port or a standard USB power adaptor. The maker advises keeping the touch version off metal surfaces and floors, which can affect the touch response, and disconnecting the power when the lamp is not used for a long time.
Care
Disconnect the lamp before cleaning. Wipe the ring with a soft, dry cloth and avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners. The lamp is not waterproof, so keep it away from humid areas. The LED is integrated and does not need bulb replacement.
