Installation and Care
Installation
Fix the base to the flat top of the pillar, post or wall. In Australia, hardwired light fittings must be installed by a licensed electrician. The 12V and 24V versions connect to a low-voltage garden lighting system through a transformer, which is not included unless stated. The solar version needs no wiring; place it where the panel in the roof receives good direct sun during the day.
Care
Switch the power off before cleaning wired versions. Wipe the frame and frosted panels with a soft, damp cloth and mild soapy water, then dry. Keep the solar panel clean. Avoid pressure washers, solvents and abrasive pads, which can scratch the acrylic.
